My inspiration is natural forms cross-pollinated with an urban sensibility. In my rural childhood I absorbed patterns of growth evolving through the seasons. As a result, the approach to design that makes sense to me intuitively is rooted in the observation of these incremental changes. Fascinated with repetitions in the natural world I play with the iterations that interest me.

The work is focused on dimensional form using a limited color palette to create distinctive jewelry. I am convinced that a handmade object, constructed with singular consideration and focused attention, brings a special resonance and warmth to the life of those experiencing it and forges a connection between the maker and the wearer.
